In Pretoria, Mama Rina Malan’s aim is to provide a safe environment for every child who is abused, neglected or suffering from HIV/Aids. Rina believes that “children need to be nurtured to build their creative, intellectual and physical growth.” Mama Rina cares for 15 children and loves them as if they were her own. She also mentors and empowers members of the Soshanguve Community.
