Mama Mary Lwate, founder of the Good Hope Community Organisation is our newest member to join the sisterhood. Mama Mary is situated in Winterveld, Mabopane and is an inspirational woman. She started the Good Hope Community Organisation in 1997 to care for abandoned and abused children. Her extended family has grown from 18 girls to over 150 children aged new born to 20 years. The crèche alone has 44 children and hese children are cared for on a full time basis. In addition to caring for the children, Mama Mary ensures that they attend school and teaches them skills such as baking, dressmaking and knitting. The centre also has a beadwork project that produces decorative items and jewellery.

"Joining Clover Mama Afrika will enable us to improve on all skills and empower members to generate more income. We are thankful for this opportunity," says Mama Mary.
