Mama Selestien Moses together with dedicated caregivers collectively cares for more than 300 children and 83 elderly on a daily basis in the Ashbury, Montagu region situated in the Western Cape. They also work closely with the local welfare department and offer a counselling service to abused children.

Sustainable skills training:

Siyabonga Bread Oven
Starting at 03h00 in the mornings ensures that her clients have freshly baked breads by 08h00. Mama Selestien has created jobs for fellow members and has increased her bread baking project to include many other baked goods such as pies.

Quilting
One caregiver is driving this project and are marketing items nationally and internationally.

Cook & Bake
Since the cook & bake course, Mama Selestien has altered her menu and is selling more pies and muffins.

Sewing
For Mama Selestien sewing courses have added value to her quilting project and is able to produce numerous items of clothing and décor pieces.
